Ever since I met Ahsan Rajib Bulbul I know him as a dedicated journalist, first as the Western Canada correspondent of a Toronto based Canada-wide Bangla newspaper, and then as the Canada Representative of Bangladesh’s famous TV channel, Channel I. Simultaneously, he also edited and published a Calgary based fortnightly Bangla newspaper.
His reports in Channel I were excellent reports; not only he covered various aspects of our community programs and activities in depth, he also added a unique flavor to broadcast journalism by reporting on the seasonal hazards and beauties alike for Canada as a country. I was personally amazed when I watched his reports on snow storms of western Canada, as well as the sceneries of colorful falling leaves during autumn. As for Bangladesh events I have seen his reports on our Independence Day, Victory Day, and Language Martyrs Day etc.
He is going to launch an online newspaper from Calgary with a global perspective. I wish him continued success in all his endeavors, journalistic or otherwise.
